Meta, the owner of Facebook, plans to launch Threads, a social media app that is aimed at competing with Twitter in the social media landscape. On Thursday, the app will go live, launching a new platform for users to engage in text-based conversations.
In addition to being available for pre-order on the Apple App Store, Threads will be closely linked to Instagram, one of Meta’s most popular social media platforms. By integrating the two apps, seamless sharing and interaction is possible, enhancing the user experience.
Screenshots of Threads reveal a dashboard that closely resembles Twitter, reflecting Meta’s desire to compete with the microblogging giant. With its familiar layout, users will find it easy to navigate and engage in conversations within the app.
