Max Verstappen, the reigning Formula One champion, needs just a few seconds to establish his dominance in the Hungarian Grand Prix and win his seventh straight race of an utterly successful year.
Red Bull surpassed McLaren’s mark for consecutive team victories set in 1988 with its 12th straight victory, which included the final race of 2022.
Verstappen said, “That was so enjoyable to drive, 12 in a row that is unbelievable. Unbelievable. I was really enjoying that last stint.”
McLaren driver Lando Norris consistently maintained second place position behind Max throughout the race completing his career second for the second-consecutive race. Red Bull’s Sergio Perez was third for a genuinely necessary second podium in six races.
