UNILORIN – University of Ilorin

The University of Ilorin, also known as Unilorin, is a university in
Ilorin, Nigeria.  Unilorin was established by a decree of the Federal Military Government in 1975 and is a federal government owned tertiary institution of education located in Ilorin, Kwara State, western Nigeria. In August 2014, the school was ranked as the best university in Nigeria and 20th in Africa by Daily Times of Nigeria.

The Federal University of Technology Akure was founded in 1981 under a drive by the government of Nigeria to create universities that specialized in producing graduates with practical as well as theoretical knowledge of technologies.

The school is really aiming high in terms of the technological and
digital aspect of developing her students. They are also ranked first in COREN data list.

FUTO – Federal University of Technology – Owerri Imo State

The university was founded in 1980.  It later merged with Alvan Ikoku College of Education Owerri, absorbing the latter’s students. The university is one of the top most technological universities in western Africa. Its student encompass of people from all over west Africa and beyond. It is the only federal university of technology in the South-East of Nigeria and one of the oldest in West Africa. The University is known for its technically strong graduates, evidenced by the large number its alumni currently in oil and gas companies in Nigeria. The largest percentage of engineers in most oil companies in Nigeria are FUTO alumni.

FUTMINNA – Federal University of Technology, Minna

The Federal University of Technology, Minna is a Federal Government owned University in Nigeria. It was established on 1st February, 1983. The objective for its establishment is to give effect to the Nation’s drive for the much-needed self-reliance in Science, Engineering and especially Technology. It is a specialized University of Technology.
